Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff's Office robbery detectives are releasing surveillance video in the hopes of identifying a man who robbed a bank in Pompano Beach last week.
The unidentified white male entered the Bank of America, located at 101 South Ocean Drive, shortly after 11 a.m. and demanded cash from one of the tellers. The suspect, who displayed no weapon, calmly walked out of the bank carrying an undisclosed amount of cash in his hands.
Witnesses last saw the suspect walking east toward A1A (Ocean Drive). The 35 to 45 year old suspect was wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, and a blue vest on top of a long-sleeved green shirt. He is about five feet eight inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call BSO Robbery Det.
