Description of Incident:

Two unidentified men were captured on surveillance video as they lurked through a marina late Friday night. Broward Sheriff’s Office Dania Beach detectives are investigating the boatyard burglary.

At 10:35 p.m. on April 25, surveillance cameras captured two burglars as they broke into Dusky Marine in Dania Beach. The men cut open the fence to the compound and, with a tool bag in hand, went about the business of removing lower units. The lower portions of six boat motors were stolen, each valued between $2,500 and $5,000. The suspects hoisted the stolen lower units over a fence and then drove off with them in a red Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Detectives are searching for the two men. One was dressed in all black; the other in a dark shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Detective Ronald Herrera at 954-518-0158 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
