SHERIFF TO HOLD LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND WORKSHOP

Sheriff Scott Israel is pleased to announce that the Broward Sheriff’s Office will hold a Law Enforcement Trust Fund (LETF) Workshop for non-profit organizations from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 29, 2013 at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale.
 

The workshop is to inform groups of the qualifying rules and to provide assistance with the application process.
 

Staff will be on hand with applications and to answer any questions from interested organizations. BSO will accept applications during the months of November and December 2013 for Fiscal Year 2013 -2014 funding from the LETF.
 

We anticipate County Commission approval for LETF funding during the second quarter of 2014.
 

Sheriff Israel and all of the men and woman of the Broward Sheriff’s Office look forward to the opportunity to assist organizations with funding to help them be even more successful in serving the needs of our community.
