Mother goes Missing on Mother's Day

 

UPDATE: Mrs. Thomas was located Monday (May 13) in West Palm Beach by the PBSO. She is unharmed and will be reunited with her family.

Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's help locating a 79-year-old woman who went missing on Mother's Day. 

Claudia Thomas was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at her daughter's home, 229 S.W. 2 Ct., Deerfield Beach.  Thomas' car was being kept at her daughter's residence since Thomas was diagnosed with dementia and couldn't drive anymore.  After the day's celebration, Thomas got into her car and drove away.  She was last seen wearing a lavender dress and slippers. 

Thomas drives a silver 2003 Ford Taurus, with a Florida tag number L208GA.  She is a black woman, who measures about 5'9" in height, weighs approximately 190 lbs., has black hair and brown eyes.
