PARENTS CALL TO CLAIM WANDERING TODDLER

The parents of the toddler found alone this morning in Pompano Beach have contacted the Broward Sheriff's Office and will likely be reunited with their little girl, who will turn 2 in May. The incident is under investigation. More information will be released later today. Thank you to the media who released her photo to the public so quickly.

POMPANO BEACH - Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are responding to a call of a toddler found alone Friday morning in Pompano Beach. Deputies knocked on doors in the neighborhood but were unable to find the little girl's family. They took her to the district office in Pompano Beach, where they fed and changed her. She is playful and happy. She was wearing a yellow shirt and pink shorts in size 3T. Anyone with information should call (954) 786-4200.
