The Broward Sheriff’s Office Deerfield Beach district office has prepared about 60 Easter baskets for young patients at the Chris Evert Children's Hospital at Broward Health Broward General Medical Center. District Chief Pete Sudler, his command staff and employees will join the Easter Bunny, as well as Mayor Peggy Noland and Deerfield Beach city officials Thursday to deliver the baskets.

“We are hoping to bring some extra joy to children who will be spending Easter in a hospital bed,” BSO Chief Sudler said. “It’s not something we do everyday, but it’s great when you get the chance to make a difference in a child’s life.”
