BSO MOTORMEN PRACTICE FOR THE SOUTH EAST POLICE MOTORCYCLE RODEO

HOLLYWOOD - The Broward Sheriff’s Office will be among 39 agencies competing Saturday in the South East Police Motorcycle Rodeo, a competition in which 168 law enforcement competitors maneuver motorcycles through challenging courses while perfecting safe driving tactics. It is the 25th anniversary of the event, which will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In addition to the competition, there will be a variety of food, booths, a Kids Zone and other family-friendly activities. It is free and open to the public. Competitors practiced Friday for the competition.   

All proceeds benefit the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). This organization assists families with education, housing and financial support after their loved ones are killed in the line of duty. For more information, visit www
