POMPANO BEACH 50th ANNUAL BOAT PARADE

The City of Pompano Beach is ready to kick-start the holiday celebrations with their 50th Annual Boat Parade. Motorists should be aware of road and bridge closures that will affect their travels.

WHEN: Sunday, December 9
TIMES: 6-10 p.m.

The Atlantic Boulevard Bridge and the Northeast 14th Street Bridge will be locked in the “up” position during the above mentioned times.

As an alternate route, travelers eastbound on Atlantic Boulevard will be detoured onto Northeast 26 Avenue. Westbound traffic from the beach will be rerouted onto Riverside Drive north and south.

Eastbound traffic for the Northeast 14th Street Bridge will be detoured at Northeast 23 Avenue. Drivers attempting to leave the beach area from Northeast 14 Street will have to use A1A north or south to other bridges.

The Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge in Deerfield will be utilized throughout the boat parade as needed.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies will be on hand to direct drivers and pedestrians during the event.
