In honor of Women’s History Month, Sheriff Scott Israel and the men and women of the Broward Sheriff’s Office will celebrate the hard work and dedication of the spiritual women in our community, who serve with BSO and the general public.

Guests will enjoy an appreciation breakfast in their honor filled with inspirational fellowship, guest speakers and music.

“This is our way of saying thank you for the many blessings women spiritual leaders provide daily to their congregations and our local communities,” Sheriff Israel said. “These women are some of our most powerful speakers and advocates who help us nurture our community partnerships.”

The women will be honored at the appreciation breakfast starting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at the Urban League of Broward County, located at 560 N.W. 27th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.

MEDIA NOTE: For coverage purposes, the program portion will start at 10 a.m. following breakfast.
