PIO 13-1-9

Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying two men who robbed a Sprint Store in Pompano Beach Friday (1/11/13) morning.

The suspects walked into the store at 633 E. Atlantic Blvd. shortly after 9 a.m. as employees were starting their work day.  The pair approached the store manager and told him he was being robbed.  They ordered all employees and customers to the back room.  The heavy set suspect, wearing a red sweatshirt, held everyone at gunpoint while his skinny accomplice loaded all the cell phones into a bag.  The suspects targeted iPhones and Galaxy phones.

The stocky suspect is described as a Latin male, 20 to 25 years old, about 5’10” tall and 270 lbs.  He’s seen on video wearing a red sweatshirt with a white T-shirt underneath, khaki pants, white sneakers and baseball cap with the word “Oakland” on the front.  He also has a scar or teardrop tattoo near his right eye.

The second suspect is a skinny black male, 18 to 25 years old, about 6’ tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. He was wearing a black cap and a black stocking over his face, a white, long sleeve T-shirt, black pants, and yellow glove on his left hand.

Anyone with information on this robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact BSO Robbery Detective Luis Rivera at 954-321-4270 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
