MOTORCYCLIST DIES AFTER CRASH

Description of Incident:

A Sunrise man riding a motorcycle lost control as he was driving Saturday night and crashed his Harley Davidson on Oakland Park Boulevard. He died the following day of his injuries, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office traffic homicide detectives.

Barry Sullivan, 50, had been westbound in the left lane of Oakland Park Boulevard when another vehicle possibly drove in front of him. He lost control of his 2003 Harley and went down. He was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol was a factor in the crash. He was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
