The Sheriff's Foundation of Broward County

The Sheriff's Foundation of Broward County was created in 1999 to promote public safety through education, public awareness and charitable activities. Funding for the foundation is through private donations.

The Sheriff's Foundation of Broward County is a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts, except those to certain funds for the benefit of the families of fallen deputies or fire rescue personnel, are fully deductible to the extent permitted by the IRS Code. The foundation's IRS form 990 may be found on guidestar.org.
