Being involved in law enforcement myself. It is always sad to hear of the death of another officer, whether in my jurisdiction or not. I myself know that the pain never goes easy. My condolences goes out to Deputy Tephford, his family, friends and colleagues. May God comfort their souls.

It is very sad to have learned of this tragedy. Brian was very young and had his whole life ahead of him. I feel especially sad for his children. This is a BIG reminder of what danger it is to those who serve in Law Enforcement, here in south Florida. I honor those like Brian who have sacrificed their life, and those who serve and those who have served. The people of Broward county owe alot of gratitude to thr Broward Sheriff's Ofiice, and especially now to Brian and his family.
