In-Custody Treatment Division
The In-Custody Treatment Division is designed to provide intensive alcohol and other substance abuse treatment services to offenders referred from the judges of the 17th Judicial Circuit, usually as a condition of Probation. The goal of the treatment programs is to help reduce criminal behavior and offender recidivism, positively benefiting the individuals, their families and our community.
The programs provide a holistic approach to offender treatment including individual and group counseling focusing on relapse prevention, life skills and anger management, self-esteem building, stress management and coping skills development, health education, education and vocational assessment, leisure time restructuring, 12-step support groups and referrals for aftercare counseling services.
The ATACC (Alternative Treatment Against Chemical Captivity) Treatment Program provides 90 days of intensive substance abuse treatment services to in-custody felony offenders that are court-ordered to the program. The men's programs are housed at the Joseph V. Conte Facility and can serve up to 72 male offenders. The women's program is housed at the Sheriff's North Jail and can serve up to thirty-two (32) female offenders.
The ISAP (Intensive Substance Abuse Program) provides 180 days of intensive substance abuse treatment services to in-custody felony offenders who are court-ordered to the program.
